In 2005 Grace Community Church had a vision to enrich the lives of our congregation and community.
Our dream was to expand our preschool ministry, provide more effective outreach opportunities, encourage greater community partnerships, enhance local mission initiatives, enrich our children, youth and young family ministries and broaden the fellowship of our church family.
All of this was accomplished with the construction of a new state-of-the-art Enrichment Center!
A Capital Campaign raised $4.2 million in contributions for the new building and we committed to a mortgage of $2 million to complete the financial need. The mortgage balance as of January 1, 2014 was approximately $1.8 million. The Foundation agreed to match an anonymous donor's contribution to pay the monthly mortgage payments starting in 2013. Subsequently, the Foundation supported the Church in raising the balance due on the mortgage. With an additional $500,000 from the Foundation plus donations raised by members of the congregation the mortgage was paid off in December 2014.
